What happens during your first appointment?

The first appointment consists of

  • general consultation,
  • reviewing your medical history (both dental and medical),
  • Acquirement and formation and implementation of short-term and long-term treatment plan
  • Quotation
What does it mean to say we are “BUPA (Health Insurance) Preferred Provider”?

This means lower to no out of pocket costs of treatment for patient’s of BUPA Health Insurance. The patient’s out of pocket costs depends on the patient’s level of cover with BUPA.

What is the Child Benefits Dental Scheme (CBDS)?

This is funding provided by the Australian Government Department of Health. Its recipients are children and teenagers eligible for government assistance.
The treatment can be provided through a private dental clinic.

All eligible children aged between 2-17 years of age will have access to a benefit capped at $1000 over a two calendar year period.

The CBDS has a means test. Families can check whether their child is eligible for CDBS by contacting the Australian Department of Human Services.

The CDBS provides individual benefits for a range of services including

  • examination,
  • x-rays,
  • cleaning,
  • fissure sealing,
  • fillings,
  • root canals, and
  • extractions

Benefits are not available for orthodontic or cosmetic dental work.

What are our Payment Options?

We provide payment by instalments during the course of major dental treatments, such as cosmetic work, crown and bridge work, root canal extractions, and implants.
